I just don't feel I actually deserve to have the account locked.Ĭopyright ©2001- Fair Isaac Corporation. Maybe this is considered account abuse, I don't know. I have never purchased any type of prepaid gift cards or anything of that sort. I haven't actually used the card for purchases since I have credit cards that earn rewards, so I figure using the BlueBird card wouldn't be the smartest move. I transfer 400 hundred of it to my mothers BlueBird account and have 200 sent to my linked bank account.
I load about 500-600 in cash to the bluebird account, usually 200 increments 3 times a month. Everything has been good for about a year now. I also got my mother to sign up and close her chase account since she was getting maintenance fees, and I thought that using this account would be a good way to send her money. I got the BlueBird account when they announced that I could load cash in store, and I figured I could just load cash there then going to my bank since I already am going to Walmart. So I have a Walmart near me, and I go there pretty frequently. What I am not clear about is if my actions are wrong, so I'm curious what others feel about my actions and activity of my account.
I have found that people have been using the service to earn rewards who manufacture spend. So I have just been looking around since I received an email notice from BlueBird indicating that "unusual account activity" was determined by them and that they locked my account.
